A quiet stillness has descended
Up at the crack of sparrows' this morning. "The mist has descended over Richmond Park" and according to Joanna. "We must get up there now!" Well, we were looking for mist, and mist we found... I hope you like the images, C

Pixel Peepers' notes: These shots were taken in a short 1.5 hour time period early this morning, as we had to be back at the house for a meeting at 10.00am! All of the shots are taken on my Sony A7R Mk3 with the 70-200 G Master Lens All shot on a Manfrotto Travel Tripod @ f4/400ISO/varying shutter speeds.
The f stop was a poor choice by me. When reviewing the files, I realised that the depth of field should not play a part with misty shots. In retrospect, I would set it to f11 and let the mist create the distance, not the depth of field. I had the tripod... Schoolboy error really. The files you see here fine and sharp, but, are the best of them. In addition to this, the shot of the fallow deer is not quite sharp. The autofocus nailed the bracken right next to the deer. That's pin sharp! I only got one frame before she opted out. Retouching Statement: There's no retouching in the shots, other than, to remove the yellow tags on the oak trees. I graded all of the images in Adobe Camera Raw.
