There's a little retouching on this shot.

There is a bench in the background that I covered with bracken to stop it distracting from the stag. I did this with a few seconds of pixel copying.

When grading, I opened up the shadows, to reveal detail in the background trees, as they were rather dark on the RAW file.

This crop is around a half of the frame, taken on a Lumix LX15.
